James Roy “Jimmy” Ethridge, Jr., 79, reunited with his loved ones in heaven on Monday, September 7, 2026.

Jimmy was born on May 20, 1947, in Macon, Georgia, to the late James Roy Ethridge, Sr. and Gloria Ann Ethridge. After graduating from high school, Jimmy moved to Warner Robins with his family. He eventually made his home Kathleen, where he lived for the majority of his life. During his early years, Jimmy participated in an avionics program and also earned his realtor’s license. He eventually decided his true passion in life was helping his parents run the family farm, where he raised crops and cattle.

In his free time, Jimmy enjoyed collecting and restoring trucks and tractors.

Jimmy was very kind-hearted and generous with a deep love for his family, his friends, and his animals. His legacy of hard work, care, and love will not soon be forgotten.

He is survived by his sister, Jill Divine, his brother-in-law, Ed Drouhard, and his beloved dog, Teá.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
