James H. Mattson, 76, entered into rest on August 13, 2008.
Mr. Mattson was born on September 4, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan. A graduate of Tri-State University and MIT, he enjoyed worldwide opportunities as an engineer. At the time of his retirement, he was employed by Lithonia Lighting. His wife, Sharron Fugate Mattson and parents, Hubert A. Mattson and Isabelle Stevens Mattson, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his son, Jack Dean Mattson, daughter LeAnn D. Kroll, step-daughter Denise Cade, a number of grandchildren, and dear friend and companion, Jean Miles.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation immediately following.
