James “Jim” Glenn Andrews, born on May 24, 1962, in Macon, Georgia, passed away leaving behind a legacy of hard work, laughter, and a deep love for the great outdoors.
A lifelong resident of Georgia, Jim made his living as a self-employed mechanic. His hands were rarely still — always fixing, building, or improving something. He had a gift for bringing engines back to life and a passion for helping anyone who needed a hand.
When he wasn’t under the hood of a car, Jim could almost always be found outside. He loved everything about the outdoors — the peace of the woods, the thrill of the hunt, and the calm of the water. But above all else, he was a fisherman through and through. Those who knew him best will tell you he wasn’t just a good fisherman — he was the best fisherman to ever live.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Andrews, and his son, Chris Andrews.
His memory will forever be treasured by his sons, Zac Andrews (Hannah) and Justin Andrews (Katie); five grandchildren; mother, Jean Andrews; sisters, Elaine Bailey (Doug) and Donna Baucom (DJ); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., at Roberta Baptist Church. Afterward, Jim will be laid to rest privately.
