James “Jim” Andrew Graf, Sr., passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, September 25, 2026.

Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on August 1, 1939, Jim was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Harrison Graf. After graduating from high school, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served for four years. Following his military service, Jim continued serving his country as a civil servant at Robins Air Force Base while attending college. He later retired as an electronic engineer.

In 1962, Jim married the love of his life, Mary Constance Mauro, the girl who had lived just across the street throughout their younger years. Their love story began close to home and grew into a lifelong partnership. Together, they built a life filled with family, love, and cherished memories.

Jim was a true car enthusiast who enjoyed working on and admiring automobiles. He also loved doing puzzles and spending time with his model trains.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie.

Those left to cherish Jim’s memory are his loving children, Mary Graf, Jennifer Teixeira (Albino), Annie Hortman, and James A. Graf, Jr., all of Warner Robins; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; his brothers, Bob Graf of Texas and Joe Graf of North Carolina; and several adoring nieces and nephews.

Jim will be laid to rest beside Connie with a graveside service at Magnolia Park Cemetery on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
