James John "Jim" Daly, Jr.

Jim Daly, Jr., 69, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

Jim was born on Long Island, New York on January 2, 1948 to the late James John Daly, Sr. and Theodora Reier Daly. He was a 1970 graduate of Furman University where he played basketball and baseball. Jim went on to graduate from the Mercer University School of Law in 1974. A past 2-year public defender in Perry, he was currently an established attorney-at-law in Warner Robins.

Jim's love of sports carried on through adulthood, and was active in Little League teams for about 10 years. He was also a member of the Optimist Club and was of the Catholic faith.

His memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife of nearly 5 years, Joyce Mclauglin Daly of Kathleen; sons, Jay Daly (Vance Brawley) of Los Angeles, California and Phil Daly of Warner Robins; stepson, Kyle Parry of Atlanta; granddaughter, Savannah Daly; brother, Thomas A. Daly (Karen) of Bonaire; nieces, Melissa Pruneda and Carly Daly; and nephew, Tyler Daly.

The family will receive friends at McCullough Funeral Home on Saturday, July 8th from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A memorial service celebrating Jim's life will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. At the family's request, his burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Jim Daly, Jr. to the American Heart Association, 5862 Zebulon Road PMB #359, Macon, GA 31210.
