James Perry Gainous, 49, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2007. Mr. Gainous was born on March 29, 1945, in Thomasville, Georgia. His father, Perry Lee Gainous, preceded him in death. An avid fisherman, Mr Gainous was the 1974 Georgia Bass State Champion and the recipient of various other awards.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Gainous, Bonaire; sons, Lee Gainous (Shelia), Hawkinsville and Kenneth Gainous (Alisa), Warner Robins; mother, Ollie Lee Gainous, Abbeville; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Joshua.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2007, at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
