James Richard Pinyan

Richard Pinyan, 67, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Richard was born in Marietta, Georgia on August 25, 1951 to the late James Henry and Joyce Pinyan. In his younger years, he was very athletic and excelled in baseball and football. He was also talented in all facets of the construction business from a young age. Richard graduated from Northside High School in 1969 and was a successful self-employed contractor by trade. Fishing was how he loved to pass the time, but his family, and spending time with grandchildren made him the happiest.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Pinyan.

Richard’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Amy Hayes of Evans, Georgia and James “Jamie” Pinyan, Jr. (Tara) of Port Orange, Florida; grandchildren, Madison, Ian, Chloe, Jamison, and Ty; siblings, Pamela Saunders, Scott Pinyan (Barbara), and Beth Leon (Tony); and many other loving family and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Richard’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Joyful Life Baptist Church.
