James William Crawford, 64, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2006. Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
Mr. Crawford was born on August 19, 1942 in Cedartown, GA. He was of the Baptist faith. A retired veteran of The United States Air Force he was a long-time member of The Retired Enlisted Association (TREA) and a member of the “Black Knights” 19th Bombardment Wing (H). James was employed in civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he worked as an equipment specialist. He was formerly employed as a Sr. Technical Analyst with SAIC. His parents, John W. Crawford and Annie Faye Swafford Crawford, and his sister, Linda Faye Barnett, all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Billings Crawford, Warner Robins; daughter, Vicki Green (Jackie), Kathleen; sons, Randy William Crawford, Warner Robins; Darryl Duane Crawford (Mari), Dublin, CA; and Jeremy Steven McEwen, Warner Robins, twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.
