Jamie Lynne Padgett

Jamie Lynne Padgett, age 65, passed away on April 1, 2026.

She was born on January 5, 1961, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to the late Jim Hood and Kay Fairchild Hood.

Jamie was raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, where she attended Northside High School. She worked various jobs throughout her early years before beginning a long and dedicated career in 1992 at Robins Air Force Base. Jamie faithfully served as a civilian for 33 years in production supply and was known for her dependability.

Outside of work, Jamie found joy in crafting and gardening. She was a loving, respectful, and generous person, known for her infectious laugh and warm smile that brightened the lives of those around her.

In addition to her parents, Jamie was preceded in death by her brother, James Hood; and stepmother, Pauline Hood.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, James Daryl Padgett; children, Joshua Jones (Tamra) of Perry, Shawn Allen of Warner Robins, and David Austin Padgett (Florencia); grandchildren, Lexi, Noah, Miles, A’la, McKenzie, Tanner, Savannah, Noah, and Max, as well as three triplets on the way; and siblings, Barbara Wolfe, and Raymond Hood.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Family will receive friends and family following the service.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Jamie Lynne Padgett to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
