Jane M. Hemphill

July 5, 1947 — August 27, 2018

On the evening of Monday, August 27, 2018, Donna Jane Molton Hemphill, 71, joined her Lord and Savior in heaven.

Mrs. Hemphill was born on July 5, 1947 in Macon, Georgia to the late Thomas Reid and Nettie Mae Patterson Molton. She was a member of the Class of 1965 at McEvoy High School in Macon. She spent twenty years in the banking business with Family Federal Savings and Loan and First National Bank before going to work on Robins Air Force Base from where she retired in 2009. A talented craftsman, she enjoyed spending her retirement years crocheting, quilting, and making porcelain dolls. She and her husband were often found selling their crafts at shows around the country. She was an active member of Centerville United Methodist Church where she appropriately served on the kitchen committee since she was well-known for her baked goods and homemade cakes. Even with all of her hobbies and pastimes, nothing brought her more joy than the time that she spent with her loving family.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband of 38 years, MSgt. Emory Don Hemphill, USAF (ret.); her children, Emory “Don” Hemphill II (Paula) of Warner Robins, Kevin Reid Armstrong of Macon, Vicki Lynn Edwards (David) of Ashburn, and Kathy Ann Richards (Kevin) of Germany; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Lynn Reid Molton (Dianne) of Macon; her sister, Rebecca Molton Bullock of Warner Robins; her aunt, Evelyn Patterson of Bolingbroke; and many other extended family members and friends.

Visitation with Mrs. Hemphill’s family will be Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
