Janet Ray Mullis

Kathleen – Janet Ray Mullis, 80, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Ms. Mullis was born on March 8, 1929, in Hazelhurst, Georgia. For many years she was a seamstress who worked for the Warner Robins and Macon Shirt Company. Her husband, James W. Mullis, Sr. and parents Robert and Tishie Ray, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children Kathy (Michael) Smith, Cochran; James (Shirley) Mullis, Jr., Warner Robins; Susan (Archie) Winkler, Cochran; Tishie (Keith) Williams, Kathleen; Betty (Danny) Bryant, Macon; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, sisters Bobbie Lovette, Joyce Walls, Carolyn Thompson and Willie Nell Rowell; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
