Janis Louise Killerlain Mathis

Janis Louise Killerlain Mathis, 57, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 29, 2013.

Janis was born in Madison, Wisconsin on November 28, 1955. She graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1973 and married her beloved husband Larry Dean Mathis on December 1, 1973. At the time of her death, Janis was the Customer Service Manager for Pactiv Corporation in Macon, Georgia, where she worked for thirty-five years.

Survivors include her mother, Joan Killerlain and stepfather, Tom Howard of Warner Robins; and sisters, Robin Sullivan of Warner Robins and Judy Snyder (Larry) of Wichita Falls, Texas. Janis was a loving wife to her husband, Larry and dedicated mother to her three beautiful daughters, Sherry Singleton (Clay), Dani Cole (Patrick), and Kellie Clayton (Stephen). She was preceded in death by her father, John Killerlain and brother, Jim Killerlain.

Janis was an avid reader and fan of the Atlanta Braves, but what she loved most in life were her seven grandchildren, Barrett Clayton (5), Julie Cole (5), Lilly Singleton (5), Wyatt Clayton (4), Mathis Clayton (2), Sarah Singleton (2), and Meredith Cole (2).

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home and the family will receive friends immediately following the service.
