Jason Keith Taylor passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 30. He was born on January 17, 1996, in Griffin, Georgia, and grew up in Meansville, Georgia, where he attended Pike County High School.

Throughout his life, Jason was a hardworking and dedicated man. He began his working years at Walmart and later served as a Correctional Officer. Most recently, he worked as a welder at Bufords Metal Fabrication and Assembly, LLC, in Milner, Georgia.

Jason had many interests and never lacked enthusiasm for the things he enjoyed. He loved 3D printing and playing video games, with Final Fantasy holding a special place among his favorites. He was also an anime fan, especially Dragon Ball Z. Music was another important part of his life, and Linkin Park was among his favorite bands. When he wasn’t enjoying one of his indoor hobbies, Jason loved being outdoors, particularly hiking and fishing.

Those who knew Jason will remember his wonderful sense of humor. He loved to joke, laugh, and make the people around him smile. His humor could certainly have a dark side, and those closest to him knew that was simply part of what made Jason, Jason. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family playing charades and other interactive games, where there was never a shortage of laughter.

More than anything, Jason had a gift for encouraging people. He could lift someone’s spirits and find a way to bring a smile to their face. He dreamed of one day becoming a motivational speaker so he could use that gift to inspire and encourage others on an even greater scale.

Jason was a natural leader who was never afraid to speak his mind. He was strong-willed, honest and deeply protective of the people he loved. Beneath his joking personality was a man with a big heart who cared deeply for others.

Family meant so much to Jason. He loved his family dearly and was genuinely grateful for the people he had in his life. He shared a special love and appreciation for his in-laws and considered those relationships an important part of his life. His caring nature extended to animals as well, and he had a great love for both dogs and cats.

Jason’s life was filled with laughter, personality, passions and love. His humor, his laughter, his willingness to speak his mind, and the love he had for his family will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Jason was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Karl Taylor.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Hannah Taylor; unborn son, Avaziea McDaniel Amari Taylor; father, Carl Taylor; mother, Tina Taylor; father-in-law, William Hart, III; mother-in-law, Natasha Montano; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tristain Gibbons, Hayden Montano, Ashlynn Jelinek, and Isabella Montano.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Afterward, Jason will be laid to rest privately.
