Jay E. Baker

Jay E. Baker, 76, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2007.

Mr. Baker was born on August 8, 1931 in Millerstown, Pennsylvania. He was a U. S. Army veteran and retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of First Assembly Church of God where he taught Sunday School. Mr. Baker was also an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Mildred Baker, Warner Robins; daughters Loraine Higgins (Melvin), Cochran and Sandy Ostoyic (Ron), Kingsland; sons, Rodger Baker, Kingsland and Duane Baker (Cheryl), Warner Robins; twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 16, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2007, at First Assembly Church of God with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to First Assembly Church of God, 6040 Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins, GA 31093.
