Jean S. Welch

Jean S. Welch, 81, entered into rest on Thursday, October 3, 2013.

Jean was born on July 11, 1932 in McIntyre, Georgia. She retired after several years with GMAC and was a long-time member of Lizella Baptist Church. Her husband, Harry Chambers Welch and parents, Charles O. and Sophie Leone Vinson Stevens preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring daughters, Tracey Dixon (Tom) and Debra Smith (Joe); grandchildren, Russell Smith and Joy Smith; brother, Tony Stevens (Kathy); nieces, Kim Hamilton (Alan) and Mandy Castleman (Paul); and seven great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, October 4, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with interment following. The family will accept flowers, or donations may be given to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
