Jecavesia Hayward, 27, went home to be with the Lord on the evening of Monday, November 27, 2017.
Mr. Hayward was born on August 14, 1990, in Perry, Georgia. He was a 2007 graduate of Perry High School where he played defensive end on the Perry High School Panthers football team. Following high school, he attended Central Georgia Technical College where he received an associate’s degree in business administration. He owned and operated Retro Bully, a kennel service in Perry. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Tikisha Hayward; his grandmother, Daisy Lee Hayward; and his grandfather, Willie B. Hayward.
His memory will forever be treasured by his father, Casey Hayward, Sr.; his brothers, Casey Hayward, Jr. of Los Angeles, California, and Casey J. Hayward of Perry; his special friend, Tykorah Longino of Atlanta; his grandmother, Sarah Duncan of Perry; his grandfather, Lurry Brown of Unadilla; his great-grandmother, Lula Mae Duncan of Elko; and a host of adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
The memorial service celebrating Mr. Hayward’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017, at New Hope Baptist Church in Perry with Reverend Dennis Harden officiating. Following the service, Mr. Hayward will be laid to rest next to his mother in Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Elko.
