Jeffrey Alexander Hieb, a lifelong resident of Warner Robins, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on July 11, 2026.
Born on March 1, 1994, in Warner Robins, Alex was raised in the community he proudly called home. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School before continuing his education at Warner Robins High School, where he formed many friendships that remained meaningful throughout his life.
Alex worked in the construction industry for several years, a career that suited his strong work ethic and natural ability to build and repair just about anything. Unfortunately, health challenges eventually forced him to step away from the work he enjoyed. In time, he became the grateful recipient of a kidney transplant, a gift that gave him renewed hope and additional time with those he loved.
Known affectionately as "Spanky" by family and friends, Alex found joy in working on cars, fishing, and tackling projects with his hands. He was happiest when he could stay busy, solving problems and creating something with his own two hands. More than any hobby or pastime, however, Alex will be remembered for the kindness he showed to others. He had an incredibly big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or simply be there for someone in need. His compassion and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Alex was preceded in death by grandfathers, John C. Hall and Dave Ledingham; great grandmother, Lillie Mae Poole; and uncle, Allan Ledingham.
His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Dawn Ledingham; grandmother, Barbara Hall; and other extended loving family.
At the request of the family, all services will be private.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
