Jeffrey Calvin Leverette, 71, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 20, 2026.
Jeffrey was born on February 13, 1955, in Macon, Georgia to the late Robert and Maisie Stephenson Leverette. He met the love of his life, Renee Leverette, in high school, and was blessed to spend over fifty years of marriage with her.
Jeffrey enjoyed working with his hands. He was a great carpenter, by which he earned his living with Bibb County. Jeffrey also liked working on cars, especially with his children, and his dirtbikes, which he liked riding with his wife. He also built his own computer – he used it to create a website dedicated to his family.
Jeffrey was known for his hard work and his dedication to family. He was an awesome dad, always finding ways to take care of his children. Later, Jeffrey found joy in spending time with his grandkids and, eventually, his great grandkids. Every moment with his family was a blessing. Jeffrey leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will not soon be forgotten.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Renee Payne Leverette, as well as all of his brothers and sisters.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Jason Leverette (Kami), Monique Sciammetta (Joseph), Nicholas Leverette (Allisa), Wesley Leverette (Hillary), and Jeffrey Christopher Leverette (Julia); his grandchildren, Caleb Leverette, Taylor Cabe, Tiffany Watson, Jasmine Kohlmayer, Tori Kohlmayer, Anthony Sciammetta, Sheldon Sciammetta, Alex Sciammetta, Michael Sciammetta, Tanner Leverette, Noah Leverette, Kason Brantley, Annastan Leverette (Russell), McKinlee Leverette, Izabella Leverette, Landon Leverette, Alexia Leverette, Levi Leverette, Aaliyah Giddens, Kayla Giddens, Okela NeeSmith, and Alexander Giddens; his great grandchildren, Russell Cabe, Casen Watson, Maelynn Watson, Liam Sciammetta, Cooper Sciammetta, Susan Griffin, and Reid Bagley; along with a host of friends and extended family.
The family will hold a visitation on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at McCullough Funeral Home.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given to a charity of your choice in honor of Jeffrey’s memory.
