Jeffrey William Warner, a devoted patriot and skilled craftsman, passed away at his residence in Perry, Georgia, on Thursday, July 25, 2024. He was 68 years old.
Born on September 17, 1955, in Spokane, Washington, Jeffrey was the son of the late Lyle E. and Mary E. Adam Warner. He spent his formative years in Schenectady, New York, and was a Guilderland High School graduate. With a deep sense of duty and patriotism, Jeffrey served honorably as a Vietnam War veteran in the United States Air Force for four years.
After his military service, Jeffrey applied his expertise as an aircraft and powerplant mechanic at Haeco, (formerly, Zantop and Timco) retiring in 2014. His commitment to excellence also led him to teach sheet metal work at Heart of Georgia Tech in Eastman for four years.
In his leisure time, Jeffrey enjoyed gunsmithing, connecting with friends and family on Facebook, and shopping.
His love for his country and his crafts remained evident throughout his life and his contributions to both his country and his field of work will not be forgotten.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Emily Warner of Warner Robins, and Julie Warner of Newnan; former spouse and friend, Jill Warner; best friends, Mike and Kym Lambert; his cherished dogs, “Dora” and "Winston"; as well as other beloved extended family members and friends.
