Jerry C. Creamer

During the evening of Friday, October 6, 2023, Jerry Creamer, 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jerry was born on March 26, 1947, in Macon, Georgia to the late Eldora and Sue Adams Creamer. With great honor, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a decorated Vietnam combat war veteran. Jerry graduated Summa cum laude in 1978 from Mercer University; he got his degree at the same time he began his career at AT&T, where he dedicated thirty-one years of service and retired at the age of 53. All of this, he did with a full-time family. Jerry loved the Lord and dedicated his life to serving Him. He never met a stranger and was a dedicated family man, who adored his family and the time spent with them. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joann Lewis and lifelong friend, James Starley.

His memory will forever be treasured by the love of his life, Brenda Bateman Creamer; loving daughters, Shannon Long (Kevin) and Sharon Thompson (Robert); grandchildren, Kelley Thompson Allen (Jay), Austin Hunter Long, Andrew Forest Long and Bryan Joshua Thompson (Mallory); cherished sisters, brother in laws, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation with Jerry’s family will be Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services celebrating his life beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. Following the service, Jerry will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family can be reached at the home of Sharon Thompson, 317 Cliff Howard Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia.
