Jerry Franklin Machue, born May 29, 1960, in Glendale, California, passed away on February 6, 2026.
Jerry spent most of his adult life working as a brick mason, a trade that reflected his strong work ethic, dedication, and pride in building things meant to last. Through the years, he earned the respect of those who worked alongside him and the appreciation of many whose homes and projects were shaped by his skilled hands.
Outside of work, Jerry found peace and joy in fishing, often savoring the quiet moments by the water. Above all else, he cherished time spent with his family. He especially loved being with his grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness and laughter.
Jerry will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the deep devotion he had for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Machue, Sr. and Beatrice Alvera Louise.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Lauren Machue Pander (Don) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Connor and Brayleigh; and siblings, Michelle Machue of Douglasville and Philip Machue of Marrietta.
At the family’s request, all services will be private.
