Jerry Randall Danson

Warner Robins – Jerry Randall Danson, 75, entered into rest on Thursday, November 18, 2010.

Mr. Danson was born on April 25, 1935 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force and participated in the Korean Conflict. He later worked at Hamilton City Fire Department as a Firefighter and retired as a Lieutenant. A devoted church member of Church of the Nazarene, where he served the Senior Saints, he faithfully worked in the prison ministry as well as the Food Bank. His mother, Addie Strong Hughes, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Linda Danson; children, Kevin Danson (Gisela), Warner Robins, Kelly Enoch (Jermaine), Atlanta, and Dana Danson, Bronx, New York; grandchildren, Rebecca Danson, Ivan Mendoza-Danson and Frida Mendoza-Danson.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 22, 2010 at Church of the Nazarene, Reverends David Miller and Harold Hatton officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Veterans Memorial in Milledgeville.
