Jessica Jane Clark, born on January 24, 1983, in Sanford, Florida, passed away on October 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and joy that touched everyone who knew her.

Jessica graduated Magna Cum Laude from First Academy in Orlando, Florida, and went on to attend the University of Florida, where she began a journey of lifelong learning and service. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force for nine years, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.

After her military service, Jessica continued to pursue her passion for helping others. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, followed by a Master’s in Psychology and a second Master’s in Social Work. Her dedication to serving others shone brightly in her work as a social worker at hospice, where she brought comfort, understanding, and kindness to countless individuals and families.

Jessica’s life was defined by love—love for her three children, for God, for her family and friends, and for the beauty of life itself. She had an adventurous spirit, a creative soul, and a generous heart. She loved to travel, explore new places, and find joy in the little things. Known for her enthusiasm during the holidays, Jessica delighted in decorating and coming up with crafty, fun ideas for her children. She also had a knack for spending money on things that brought joy and laughter to those around her.

Jessica’s warmth, humor, and compassion made her unforgettable. Her presence filled every room with light, and her absence leaves an unfillable void. Though her time here was far too short, the love and kindness she shared will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Jessica was preceded in death by her father, James Clark, Jr.; grandparents, Harland (Buzz) Benedict, Nancy Benedict, James Clark, Sr., and Earline Clark; and cousin, Christopher Lycans.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Jameson Robert Clark-Parrick, Jackson Landon Clark-Parrick, and Jillian Jane Clark-Parrick; mother, Kathy Jane Koref; stepfather, Aaron Koref; uncles, Kenneth Benedict, and Harly Benedict (Jaynie); aunts, Patti Wright (Dan), Susan Marshall, Tina Perdue, and Sandy Shealey; and numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

The family will plan a Celebration of Life at a later date in Orlando, Florida, to honor and remember Jessica’s beautiful spirit.
