Jessie Mae "Mema" Thomas

Jessie Mae "Mema" Thomas, 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2015.

Jessie was born on December 12, 1919 in Gadsden, Alabama. She was a devoted homemaker always caring for her husband and two children. In her free time Jessie enjoyed gardening and spending time with her beloved family.

Her husband, James W. Thomas; son, James B. Thomas; daughter, Glenda Giles; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Whisenant; and several siblings, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her grandchildren, Tammy Malone (Matt), Al Thomas (Kristie), and Joe Thomas all of Warner Robins; great grandchildren, Katie Malone, James Thomas, and Alan Thomas; and brother, Guy Whisenant (Juanita) of Gadsden, Alabama.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Mrs. Thomas will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
