Jimmie O. Drum

Jimmie O. Drum passed away early on the morning of February 28, 2025. Born in Haw River North Carolina. 

He listed in the Navy reserves while in high school. He went on to enlist in the US Navy and spent 22 years before his retirement in 1975. He was a two war veteran serving during the Korean War and the Vietnam conflict. 

In 2018, he left California to move closer to family and moved to Warner Robins Georgia.

Jimmie leaves behind two daughters, three grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Mr. Drum will be buried at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham, North Carolina beside his wife Lillie, of 69 years.
