July 18, 1994 — October 4, 2025

Lawrenceville

It is with heavy hearts, that we share the passing of Jimmy “Heath” Hosch, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, on October 4, 2025, at the age of 31.

Heath was born in 1994 and lived the first 11 years of his life in Dawsonville, Georgia. After moving to the middle Georgia area, he played soccer, a sport he loved. During his high school years, he was a member of the Warhawk soccer team. After graduating from Veterans High School and later earning his associate degree from Central Georgia Technical College, he embarked on a career as a Radiology Technologist. He loved, and was loved by, his co-workers at Northside Gwinnett Radiology Department, aka “the weekender tribe.” His other passion in life was traveling on cruises and flying to many exotic locales with his Aunt Sherry Hughes and many friends.

Heath’s infectious zest for life was contagious to all who met him. He always had a smile on his face and made everyone laugh with his antics. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted soul who always would be the first to help when someone needed it. After the loss of his father, Bruce, he decided to put his career on hold and moved back to middle Georgia to help with the family business. This was typical of his giving nature.

Heath was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Applewhite, and grandfather, Carroll D. Applewhite.

His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Lena Hosch Applewhite of Bonaire, Georgia; grandparents, Lenon and Carole Hosch of Buford, Georgia; Leon and Jackie Hughes of Helen, Georgia; and Margie Applewhite of Tifton, Georgia. He will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as extended family and friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
