JoAnn Louise Harrell, a devoted community leader, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, at the age of 72.

JoAnn was proud to be a member of several organizations that aligned with her passion for service and sisterhood, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority, Inc., the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Pilot Club.
She found great joy in traveling the world and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. An expressive soul, JoAnn also loved writing poetry and sharing her reflections through the written word. She leaves behind a legacy of love, leadership, and inspiration to all who knew her. JoAnn is preceded in death by her mother, Evoria Jackson.
