Joanne Wheeler

Joanne Wheeler, 65, entered into rest on Monday, March 27, 2023.

Joanne was born on December 6, 1957, in Macon, Georgia. Joanne loved both her job and her work family where she served school lunch for Veterans High School. In her free time, she enjoyed working in her garden, cooking, and going on walks.

Joanne’s parents, Robert Ball and Christine West, along with her son, Luke Stokes, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Paul Wheeler; daughter, Danna Stokes (Sean Pearson); granddaughter, Cheyan Stokes; sisters, Suzanne Jones and Roxanne Buttram; and stepchildren, Crystal Wheeler, and Darren Brill.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Magnolia Park Cemetery, where Joanne will be laid to rest.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Joanne Wheeler to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
