Johanna Maria Theresia Pickett

Johanna Pickett, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.

Johanna was born on October 19, 1939 in Germany to the late Johan and Maria Hagl Kinner. She was a chef at the N.C.O. Club at Robins Air Force Base and worked security at the Macon airport for many years. Johanna was also a member of the ladies' auxiliary at the V.F.W. Her greatest joy came from her family; especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 26 years, David Pickett of Warner Robins; children, Dianna Fite (Dana), Christine Baker (David), Robin Mendibles (Ramon), and Susan Smith all of Tuscon, Arizona; 12 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

At the family's request all services will be private.
