John Carlisle Bazemore, II
Warner Robins –John Carlisle Bazemore, II, affectionately known as “Bird,” entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on March 15, 1981, in Milledgeville, Georgia, Carl was the beloved son of Marvin C. Bazemore and Bonnie Bellflower. He grew up in Warner Robins, Georgia, where he made lifelong friends and memories.
Carl was known early in life for his strong work ethic and natural skill with his hands, qualities that began to shine during his time at Warner Robins High School. He began his career with Kevin Taylor Siding, mastering the art of vinyl siding installation. He later brought his talents to Yard Works, where he took pride in landscaping and working outdoors.
Carl was truly a master carpenter — he could build anything and had an innate gift for craftsmanship. Whether it was woodwork, cars, or repurposing discarded items into treasure, Carl found joy and beauty in creating. He loved cars, both driving and working on them, and had an unshakable bond with his dogs, especially his beloved pit bulls. His connection to animals was something special — gentle, intuitive, and full of care.
A free spirit with a hilarious sense of humor, Carl lit up every room he entered. He was funny, charming, and endlessly resilient. Those who knew him will never forget his striking blue eyes, handsome smile, and the strength and determination that defined his life. He lived with a resourcefulness that turned obstacles into opportunities and hardship into growth.
Carl had a deep love for music and enjoyed spending hours tinkering with projects big and small. He was a proud member of Southside Baptist Church, where he found faith, community, and healing. He was especially active in Celebrate Recovery, where he supported others on their journeys with compassion and courage.
Carl’s life was a testament to strength, creativity, and heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Carl was preceded in death by his step brother, Gregory Wright.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Alyssa Bazemore, Kayelynn Bazemore, Jayden Oswald, and Juliette Mia Bazemore; father, Marvin C. Bazemore (Kay); mother, Bonnie Bennett Bellflower; siblings, Tracie Campbell (Billy) and Joanna Cirkenberger (Jason); nieces, Alexis Lanier and Peyton Campbell; and the mother of his two oldest daughters, Jennifer Bazemore.
