John D. Grove, Jr.

John D. Grove, Jr., 67, entered into eternal rest on the late afternoon of Saturday, November 21, 2015.

Born on November 30, 1947 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, John was a son of John David Grove, Sr. and the late Mary Ellen Krone Grove. A proud Vietnam Veteran with the United States Marine Corps, he earned his Associate of Arts Degree from Penn State University and went on to retire from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. John had many interests including fishing, hunting and cooking, but his home and family life always came first. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 10 years, Mary Grove of Byron; son, Johnny Moore (Eugenia) of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Michael Moore, and Jania and Dakota McCord; father, John David Grove, Sr. of Warner Robins; brother, James R. Grove (Charmayne) of Pennsylvania; and several adoring nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
