John "Jack" Nelson

John “Jack” Nelson, 88, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Houston Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1, at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Lung Association of Georgia, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, GA 30080.

Mr. Nelson was born July 9, 1916 in Liverpool England. He served as a Royal Air Force Pilot during WWII.

Survivors include wife, Catherine Nelson, Warner Robins; son, Keith John Nelson (Carol), England; daughter, Wendy Kathryn Nelson Wenke (James), Pennsylvania; Anne Soderberg (Dean), Bonaire; daughter, Jacqueline Mary Pentalow (Thomas), Connecticut; brother, Ernest Billington; and twelve grandchildren.
