John K Benson

John K. Benson, 78, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at Serenity Gate. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2004 at Crossroads Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Dr. Warner Robins, Ga. 31088.

Mr. Benson was born in Danville, IL. He was a former member of Crossroads Methodist Church and more recently became a member of Grace Church. He had many special interests such as reading, poker, and gardening. John retired from the United States Army, where he served in World War II, the Korean conflict, Vietnam and during peace time. His parents, John and Dorothy Benson, and his daughter Karen Benson preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Alfreda Benson Perry; daughters, Kathy Jandula, Florida; Dottie Evans, Indiana; stepchildren; Kirk Anglin, California; Lisa Gilbert, Virginia; Paul Anglin, Maryland; Sally Weeks, Texas.
