John Lewis Campbell, 84, entered into rest on Thursday, June 12, 2008.
Mr. Campbell was born on April 13, 1924 in Rockingham, North Carolina. With pride and honor, he served and retired from the United States Navy, having served in World War II. He also retired from Rodman Naval Station, Panama Canal, as a Fuel Pump Foreman. His parents, Louis and Ruby Campbell, preceded him in death.
His memory will be forever treasured by his wife, Celia Campbell, Bonaire; daughters, Lina Marohl, Jackson, California, Joanne Chiari, Miami, Florida, and Michele Campbell, Panama; sons, Johnny Campbell, Panama, Raymond Campbell, Warner Robins, Joseph Campbell, Aviano Air Base, Italy, Michael Campbell, McKinney, Texas, and Ronald Campbell, Roseville, California; and eighteen grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Monday, June 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
