John Martin Ycaza

John Martin Ycaza joined his Lord and Savior in Heaven on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. He was 83 years old.

The son of the late Gustavo and Maria Cobo Ycaza, John was born in Quito, Ecuador. After pursuing his education, he earned his master's degree. John then embarked on a career as an Electronic Engineer. For an impressive 32 years, he served his country with distinction on Robins Air Force Base, where his expertise and commitment were invaluable.

In the last 22 years, John attended a Baptist church with his fiancée, Louise Zeagler.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Vivi Weiss-Andersen Ycaza; and siblings, Jaime and Lillian.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Stroschein (Larry); and fiancée, Louise Zeagler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. John will be laid to rest privately.
