John Amos Michael, III, 78, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

John was born on June 22, 1948, in Baltimore Maryland to the late John Amos Michael, Jr. and Mrytle Atwood Michael. He would later marry the love of his life, Becky Michael, with whom he spent 55 wonderful years. John proudly served his country for twenty-five years in the United States Air Force.

In his free time, John would often be found outdoors. He enjoyed piddling in the yard and hunting.

John was a dedicated family man. He found great joy in spoiling his kids, grandkids, and great grandchild at every opportunity. John also loved the Lord – his walk with him serves as a guiding light for those he left behind.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Becky Michael; his children, Kyle Michael (Misty) and Jennifer Zion; his grandchildren, Zachary Michael, William Zion, and Lauren Zion; his great granddaughter, Nola Michael; his siblings, Susan Michael, Linda Michael, and Rodney Michael; along with a host of friends and extended family.

At the request of the family, all services will be private.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of John to the charity of your choosing.
