John Olen Bell, Iii

John Olen Bell, III, 67, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 4, 2011.

Mr. Bell was born on September 8, 1944 in Savannah. He was a retired Supervisor from Southern Railway and a veteran that proudly served his country. He enjoyed his daily visits with his Huddle House family. Cornerstone Baptist Church was his church home. His parents, Johnnie Olen Bell, II, and Hazel Mary Mitchell Bell, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Charlene Cox Bell; sons, Shawn Bell (Cassie), Byron, and John Bell (Kimberly Miller), Centerville; granddaughter, Anslea Bell, Warner Robins; and brother, Larry Bell (Sue), Valdosta.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Dr. Mike Blizzard officiating. Inurnment will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2011 in Andersonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 5399 Hartley Bridge Road,
Macon GA 31216.
