John T. Monk, Jr.

John T. Monk, Jr., 73, entered into rest on Friday, June 29, 2012.

John was born on November 27, 1938 in Canton, Mississippi. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he served his country for four years. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and later retired from Northrop Grumman as a Senior Engineer. John was a resident of Warner Robins since 1998, and he was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church and the International Sunday School Class. In his spare time, John loved fishing, reading, and time spent with his family. His daughter, Kathryn Julia Monk; and father, John Thomas Monk, Sr., preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Hilaria Monk; children, Phoebe Grace Eugenio, John Ira Monk, and Marion Magelene Monk; granddaughter, Toni; mother, Julia Evelyn Monk; siblings, Anthony Monk and Kathleen Hemphill; and sister-in-law, Benita Eugenio Cabaltica (Francisco).
