John William Clark

June 20, 1928 — March 1, 2011

John William Clark, 82, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 1, 2011.

Mr. Clark was born on June 20, 1928 in Telfair County, Georgia. He was a member of Perry United Methodist Church. After thirty years, Bill retired from civil service where he worked as Chief Deputy of Distribution. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Mercer University. He was also a proud veteran serving in the United States Navy. Bill loved spending time with his family, playing golf and fishing. His parents, William Archer Clark and Lola Clark, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Nancy Harper Clark; daughters, Patsy Hayslip, Catherine Morgan (Reed); Debbie Jones (David); Rebecca DeBary (Brian); step children, Cheryl Sorrow (Tommy); Randy Shuttlesworth (Julie); Rusty Shuttlesworth (Dawn); Buster Hickam (Lynn); twenty grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday evening, March 4, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
