Johnnie D. Miller

Johnnie D. Miller, 55, entered into rest on Monday, June 9, 2008.

Mr. Miller was born on January 19, 1953 in Valdosta, Georgia. He was a welder by trade. River of Light Church of God was his church home. He loved his God, family and friends, and never met a stranger. His parents, Rev. Dewey and Cleo Miller and brother, Wayne Miller, preceded him in death.

His memory will be forever treasured by his wife, Claudia Miller, Perry; daughter, Amanda Melton (Andrew), Canton; son, Christopher Johnson, Colorado; sisters, Rachel Yarbrough (Tony) Carol Kersey, and Becky Lively (Andy), all of Perry; brother, Frank Miller (Margaret), Niceville, Florida; sister-in-law, Jo Miller, Cleveland, Tennessee; granddaughter, Emma Melton; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at River of Light Church of God with interment following in the Perry Memorial Gardens.
