Johnnie Ray Perry, 53, entered into rest on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Emory Hospital of Warner Robins.

Johnnie was born on November 29, 1972, in Macon, Georgia, to Velma May Foster and the late Jackson Ray Perry, Sr. He was raised in Warner Robins and attended Northside High School.

Johnnie was a skilled mechanic who enjoyed working on cars at several automotive shops including, Paul’s Automotive. Beyond his work, he was a gifted artist who enjoyed drawing and painting. He also had a fondness for the color blue, was proudly left-handed, and loved to fish. With a natural ability to make people laugh, Johnnie was handsome and charming. Known for his heart of gold, he was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Most importantly, Johnnie cherished his family deeply and held a special love for his father. As a man of the Christian faith, Johnnie lived his life with compassion and generosity. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his father, Johnnie was preceded in death by his sister, Patty Perry.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Candace Ashleigh Perry; children, Jacob Perry of Savannah, Johnnie Perry of Warner Robins, Madison Perry of Roberta, and Noah Perry of Warner Robins; mother, Velma Foster; siblings, Lory Perry, Jackson Ray Perry, Jr. (Cindy), Sherry Perry, Becky Perry, and Lisa Peebles.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Johnnie Ray Perry will be laid to rest privately.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Johnnie Ray Perry to Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital, 700 Spring St, Macon, GA 31201.
