Johnny C. Tucker

Johnny C. Tucker, 53, died Friday January 18 at the Peach Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 pm Monday at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Born in Stanford, Connecticut, Mr. Tucker was employed in the Civil Service as a Sheet Metal Mechanic at Robins Air Force Base. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served in Vietnam. He was a member of The Lighthouse Church, Fort Valley and was an avid fisherman. His parents, Clayton and Olympia Tucker preceded him in death.

His wife, Brenda Tucker; daughter, Tara Y. Wright, Perry; sister, Sarah Dotson, Valdosta; granddaughters, Alexis and Daylan Wright, Perry; and several nieces and nephews survive him.

McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
