Josefina Morlett Davis, 77, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Born on April 29, 1947, and raised in Laredo, Texas, Josefina graduated from high school before beginning her career at a local bank. It was during that time she met the love of her life, the late Allen Bernard Davis, Sr. A devoted wife and mother, she faithfully supported her husband and family as they relocated throughout the country during his service in the United States Air Force.
In 1980, the Davis family settled in Warner Robins, Georgia. Her beloved husband passed away in 1985, on the day before his retirement. With strength and determination, Josefina went on to establish her own business, J.C. Janitorial, which she operated until her retirement in 2014.
Josefina was a woman of strong faith, a loving mother and grandmother, and a cherished friend. She found joy in worship and fellowship.
In addition to her husband, Josefina was preceded in death by her father, Jose Morlett (Elodia), her mother, Jacinta Vasquez, and her siblings.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Allen Bernard Davis, Jr. (Christy) of Summerville, South Carolina, Elizabeth Davis Noblitt, and Joseph Michael Davis, all of Bonaire; grandchildren, Caroline Davis, Aspen Noblitt, and Ki Noblitt; as well as her sister, Lydia Willis of San Antonio, Texas; and other beloved extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Josefina Morlett Davis will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery privately at a later date.
