Joseph P. White, 65, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
Joseph was born on December 12, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Allison Paul and Joyce Ann White. In his younger years, Joseph served in the United States Air Force and met and married Melody Miller, whom he had his children, Maria and Joshua with. After they parted ways, he’d go on to marry the late Kimberly White. Joseph worked in aerospace control and warning systems operation for 5 years, then worked as an aircraft armament systems specialist for 3 years before retiring as a bus technician for the Houston County Board of Education. He enjoyed a vast array of interesting hobbies including working on cars, crafting, computers, model cars, R/C cars, and airplanes. His guilty pleasures included chocolate milk, jello cookies, and peanut butter cookies. Joseph loved spending time with his children and grandchildren most of all.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly White; and his brother, Gregory White. His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Maria Pachulski and Joshua White; his grandkids, Meghan, Masyn, and Makenzy; and his siblings, Missy Boring (Paul), Paula Mosely (Kurt), and Mark White (Sheila).
Visitation will be Sunday, February 12, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Afterward, Joseph will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery.
