Joy Ila Rawls

Joy Ila Rawls, 82, entered into rest on Sunday, February 12, 2012.

Mrs. Rawls was born on December 1, 1929 in Thomas County, Georgia. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins. Joy was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her husband, Charles Bennett Rawls, Jr., and her parents, Benjamin Franklin O'Neal and Marie Jones O'Neal, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Sharilynn Rawls, Dublin; Susan Odom, Ashburn; Charles B. Rawls, III, Warner Robins; Franklin "Neal" Rawls, Montezuma; Lawrence "Larry" Rawls, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Elizabeth Joy Whidby (Kevin), Michael Allen Rawls, Elijah Rawls, and Hunter Rawls.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 15, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the Salvation Army, 305 Green Street, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
