Juan Herrera

Juan Herrera, 88, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 20, 2015.

Juan was born on February 8, 1927 in Havana, Cuba. He worked at a laboratory center in Havana for many years until his retirement. Juan was a very popular and fun-loving man. He was always telling jokes to bring joy and a smile to everyone he met. He loved animals, music, dancing, and watching movies. Juan always had music playing and was dancing around the house. Michael Jackson was his favorite singer of all times, he would say "Michael was the Best of the Best". Clint Eastwood and Bruce Lee were his favorite actors; he would sit and watch their movies over and over again.

Juan was the most wonderful father; he always had a solution for every problem and never showed stress. His children thank God every day for giving them such an amazing man as a father and will miss him dearly.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving son, Juan A. Herrera; daughters, Barbara M. Herrera-Cruz, Maria Theresa Herrera-Cruz, and Maria A. "Lulu" Herrera; grandchildren, John A. Herrera, Kevin Bernal, Lester Cala, Joel Herrera, and Ariana Herrera; as well as his daughter-in-law, Amparo Herrera; and son-in-law, Ramon Cala and Timothy Soler.

A visitation with Juan's family will be Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Juan will be laid to rest in Memorial Plan Flagler Memorial Park in Miami, Florida, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015.
