Juanita Adkinson Richey

Juanita Adkinson Richey, 77, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005 at Fitzgerald Nursing Home, Fitzgerald, Georgia. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Kramer Baptist Church Building Fund, 1650 American Legion Road Abbeville, Georgia 31001 (Attention: Nancy Martin). The Reverend’s Scott Harrell and Reverend Talmadge Wilcox will be officiating.

Mrs. Richey was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia. She was a member of Kramer Baptist Church. She retired from Roses Department Store as the bookkeeper. Her husband, James Wilson (Pee Wee) Richey; parents, John and Elizabeth Adkinson; brothers, Jack Adkinson; Otis Adkinson; Lawrence Adkinson; James Adkinson; sister, Lorena Adkinson; preceded her in death.

Survivors include her brothers, Bobby Adkinson, Rochelle, Georgia; Wayne Adkinson, Rochelle, Georgia; five sister-in-laws; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, John Markham, Fitzgerald, Georgia.
