Juanita Von Almen, 91, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
Juanita was born on April 29, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to the late David Edgar and Rachel Edna Barry Clark. She was a loving homemaker, always devoting herself to the needs of her family. Juanita loved her church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school class, and served the Lord in many other roles throughout the years. However, her greatest joy came from time spent with her beloved family.
Along with her parents, her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Adelbert M. Von Almen, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Cherry V. Finn of Oakwood, Georgia, David R. Von Almen (Ann) and Sara V. Hebenstreit (Charlie), both of Warner Robins, and Major John M. Von Almen (Marsha) of Washington D.C.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Register of Waverly, Tennessee; and a host of adoring nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at First Christian Church. A visitation will immediately follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Juanita Clark Von Almen to Camp Christian Conference Center care of the Christian Church in Georgia, 2370 Vineville Ave, Macon, GA 31204.
