Judith Lorraine Long Rewis, 86, entered into rest on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
Judith was born on February 22, 1939, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A woman of deep faith, she was a devoted and longtime member of Oakland Baptist Church, where she found joy and fellowship in worship. Proud of her heritage, Judith was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. In her quiet moments, she loved to read and found peace in the art of cross-stitching, hobbies that reflected her thoughtful and creative spirit.
Judith was preceded in death by her husband of 50+ years, William Lon Rewis, mother, Edna Long and son, Robert Mark Rewis.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Andy Rewis (Alecia) of Jackson, Georgia; grandchildren, Cody Rewis of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Brittni Wolber (Johannes) of Columbus, Georgia, and Jonathan Green (Payton) of Ellerslie, Georgia, along with four great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Judith will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
