Karen Tucker Swain

Karen Tucker Swain, 90, died on October 19, 2025.

Mrs. Swain was born on November 16, 1934, in Powell, Wyoming. In 1943, the US Army Quartermaster Corps war department transported Mrs. Swain, her mother Pearl Workmen Tucker, and her sister Florence Tucker to reside with her father Lowell K. Tucker in Houston County, Georgia.

Mrs. Swain is survived by her grandchildren, Kristy Porter, David K. Swain Jr., Samantha Swain, Jamie Owens, Meri Swain, Angel Ursy, and Amber Ruffner.

She is proceeded in death by her three children, James Jackson Swain, Jr., David K. Swain, and Kim Swain Baker.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Magnolia Park Cemetery, where Karen Tucker Swain will be laid to rest.
